ENCOUNTERS WITH ART: Robert Elibekian

On April 21 the ENCOUNTERS WITH ART series of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) presented a special event dedicated to renowned Armenian artist Robert Elibekyan’s 75th anniversary, which was organized in association with the newly opened exhibition of the Center Robert Elibekyan: Reflections.

During the evening a lecture Reflections by Elibekian was given by art critic Lilit Sargsyan. Afterwards, the CCA educational coordinator Liza Shirinyan presented the educational program Spring Carnival and the newly published catalog of the exhibition. The evening was concluded with Robert Elibekian’s speech.

The copies of the catalog were handed out to the audience, who also had an opportunity to communicate with the artist in person. The representatives of Armenian art community and renowned artists were present at the event, among them composer Tigran Mansurian and movie director Artavazd Peleshyan.

Admission and Hours

Cafesjian Sculpture Garden: always open.
Escalator Gallery: everyday, 8:00-20:00.
Exhibition Galleries, Museum Store and Visitor Center: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10:00-20:00.
The Center is closed on state holidays.

From April 1 until October 31, CCA Museum Store, besides Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, will also be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 10:00am till 6:00pm.
