Exhibition Dedicated to Armenian Abstract Art Opened at CCAJuly 14, 2018 The exhibition, 11: Selections of Armenian Contemporary Abstract Art at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts is an effort to present the field of contemporary abstract art in Armenia, which is much larger than the exhibition offers. The eleven artists represented in Eagle and Sasuntsi Davit Garden Galleries reveal how diverse abstract art can be with respect to aesthetics and technique. A significant part of the artwork is presented for the first time, or was created especially for this exhibition. Through the exhibition the Cafesjian Center for the Arts brings special attention to the contemporary abstract art in Armenia. The public dates for the exhibition are July 14 to September 16, 2018. The admission will be free of charge.

Admission and HoursCafesjian Sculpture Garden: always open. Escalator Gallery: everyday, 8:00-20:00. Exhibition Galleries, Museum Store and Visitor Center: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10:00-20:00. The Center is closed on state holidays. From April 1 until October 31, CCA Museum Store, besides Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, will also be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 10:00am till 6:00pm.
