City Hundertwasser Educational Program

May 03, 2014
Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) launches a new educational program City Hundertwasser based on the exhibition Friedensreich Hundertwasser: Regentag.

Friedensreich Hundertwasser (1928-2000) is undeniably one of the most vibrant and controversial characters of the 20th century post-war art. The Regentag portfolio (Look at it on a Rainy Day) from the Gerard L. Cafesjian Collection is one of Hundertwasser’s major works composed of ten silkscreen prints.

In the first part, the participants will have a tour in the exhibition and get familiarized with Hundertwasser’s works, concepts and style.

Prior to the creative process, the participants will watch a power-point presentation on Hundertwasser’s architecture. At the end of the program, they will create cityscape maquettes, inspired by the artist's architectural ideas and philosophy.

In the frames of City Hundertwasser program the Cafesjian Center for the Arts will collaborate with Urbanlab Yerevan Architectural Office.

This program is a unique opportunity for participants to discover the work and philosophy of Friedensreich Hundertwasser and enjoy the joyful and creative atmosphere of the museum.

The program is designed for teenagers (aged 14 +) and adults.

Participation in the program is free, with prior reservation. For more information please call: +37410 541932/34.
