ENCOUNTERS WITH ART: That other FrunzikNovember 14, 2013 That other Frunzik The event is dedicated to the great Armenian actor Mher Mkrtchyan and will feature a documentary about the artist created by members of the Union of Journalists Shushanik Sahakyan and Hovhannes Papikyan. The program includes: • Presentation of the documentary by the authors • Screening of the film That other Frunzik • After-screening discussion with the cameraman professor Levon Atoyants; literary critic, theatre-expert Levon Mutafyan and actress Tamar Hovhannisyan-Mkrtchyan • Reception (In partnership with the Armenia Wine Company) The admission to the event is free, by prior reservations. For inquiries or reservations please call 541932/34. The Encounters with Art program was launched at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts in October 2010, as a series of events dedicated to Armenian, as well as international artists and important cultural events.

Admission and HoursCafesjian Sculpture Garden: always open. Escalator Gallery: everyday, 8:00-20:00. Exhibition Galleries, Museum Store and Visitor Center: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10:00-20:00. The Center is closed on state holidays. From April 1 until October 31, CCA Museum Store, besides Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, will also be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 10:00am till 6:00pm. |
