Raphael Rogiński

Composer, guitarist, performer, cultural animator and researcher of musical folklore from Poland. Trained in jazz and classical music, he expanded his education to include musicology and ethnomusicology. He plays Bedouin, African, Sami, Persian, as well as Armenian and other music, performing them with local musicians. Primitive American music, blues and rock of the 1960s is another significant part of Rogiński's inspiration. At the same time, the musician is involved in projects related to the world's new jazz scene. His compositions, improvisations or interpretations often illustrate artistic events - documentaries and cartoons as well as animated cartoons, performances, traditional and multimedia theater and poetry.

In Yerevan, Roginsky will present an exclusive solo concert, featuring a special program titled 'My Armenian Ornament.' During the performance, the renowned musician will reveal his personal connection to 'Armenianness,' sharing the real story behind it.
