Open-Air Film Screenings at Cafesjian Sculpture Garden Start October 14

Open-air film screenings started at the Cafesjian Sculpture Garden on October 14 under “Kinoashun” (Cinema Autumn) festival.

Open-air film screenings started at the Cafesjian Sculpture Garden on October 14 under “Kinoashun” (Cinema Autumn) festival. The festival is organized by the National Cinema Center of Armenia and aims at giving wider recognition to the Armenian films and movies.

The screenings in the Cafesjian Sculpture Garden will be held every Thursday and Friday till November 6.

The first film to be shown is the legendary “Shor and Shorshor” by the founding father of Armenian cinema Hamo Beknazaryan.

    The Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) announces the closure of Ivana Šrámková: Geometric Forms and Images exhibition at Sasuntsi Davit Garden Gallery of the Center. The exhibition, opened in November 2010, for the first time in Armenia presented the works by Czech glass artist Ivana Šrámková from the Gerard L. Cafesjian Collection. The exhibition was also accompanied by a children’s program, Creativity and Imagination, administered in the exhibition gallery for children aged 6-12.

Admission and Hours

Cafesjian Sculpture Garden: always open.
Escalator Gallery: everyday, 8:00-20:00.
Exhibition Galleries, Museum Store and Visitor Center: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10:00-20:00.
The Center is closed on state holidays.

From April 1 until October 31, CCA Museum Store, besides Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, will also be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 10:00am till 6:00pm.
