The Cafesjian Center for the Arts Hosted Six Presidents of Collective Security Organization Countries

August 24, 2010 On August 20 the Cafesjian Center for the Arts hosted the informal meeting of Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member-countries. The meeting was attended by the President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan; the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitriy Medvedev; the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev;  the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rakhmon; the interim leader of Kyrgyzstan, Rosa Otunbayeva, as well as the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, Nikolay Bordyuzha. 

The seven leaders arrived at Khanjyan Gallery of the Cafesjian Center for the Art for the opening session of the CSTO informal summit. After the session, the President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, the President of Russia, Dmitriy Medvedev, and the Secretary General of CSTO, Nikolay Bordyuzha, met with around 200 representatives of local and international press in Gallery One. The media representatives also used the press-center organized at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts.
