WE ARE GOING TO THE MUSEUM children’s book is dedicated to the 20th Anniversary of the “Cafesjian Museum” Foundation. With the efforts of the Foundation, established in 2002, the Cascade Complex, which had been an unfinished site for more than 10 years, was completely renovated and opened to the public as the Cafesjian Center for the Arts. In 2002, the Cat sculpture by world-famous Columbian sculptor, Fernando Botero, was installed at the Cafesjian Sculpture Garden, becoming its first “resident.” Today, the Cat is the main character of CCA’s newest initiative – WE ARE GOING TO THE MUSEUM book. 

“We are happy to announce about a new children’s book, WE ARE GOING TO THE MUSEUM, ahead of the New Year and Christmas celebrations. This interactive and educational book will not only capture the interest of children, but also of their parents. The objective of the book is to teach children about art through the artworks displayed at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts. The captivating content of the book, enriched with interactive task-games, makes the newest publication of our Center even more unique,” states Vahagn Marabyan, the Executive Director of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts.
