Jaume PlensaSpanish sculptor Jaume Plensa (b. 1955) is at the forefront of the contemporary art scene. He works in a wide range of media including drawing, sculpture, printmaking, opera scenery, video art, acoustic installations, text and light, and has created some major installations including the interactive Crown Fountain in Chicago's Millennium Park. His work has been exhibited in some of the world's best contemporary art institutions including the Jeu de Paume in Paris, the Henry Moore Institute in Leeds and the Joan Miró Foundation in Barcelona. Admission and Hours
Cafesjian Sculpture Garden: always open. Escalator Gallery: everyday, 8:00-20:00. Exhibition Galleries, Museum Store and Visitor Center: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10:00-20:00. The Center is closed on state holidays. From April 1 until October 31, CCA Museum Store, besides Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, will also be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 10:00am till 6:00pm.
