Grand Opening
The  Grand Opening of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts took place on November 8, 2009! On a free-admission day the public viewed one of the world’s finest private collections of contemporary glass and art, including the unparalleled glass sculpture of premiere Czech artists Libenský Brychtová. This special exhibition has been designed and installed by Jaroslava Brychtova herself and the artist made a rare, personal appearance at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts.

Other grand opening highlights included the special Arshile Gorky collection, newly unveiled Tamanyan Sculpture Park, a re-dedication of the Khanjyan Triptych, an intimate conversation and photo exhibit by ex-Beatle’s wives Cynthia Lennon and Pattie Boyd, the outstanding work of glass artists Dale Chihuly, Swarovski and more!
