February 22, 2011, Yerevan. “ArmenTel” CJSC (Beeline brand) and Cafesjian Center for the Arts announce the launch of a partnership in education and creative programs for children and adolescents.

Within this partnership, programs for children and adolescents will be regularly presented, including creative workshops, concerts of classical music and other education initiatives focused on arts education for children.

“ArmenTel company traditionally supports projects that aim at cultural and arts education of the younger generation. The cooperation with the Cafesjian Center for the Arts is a significant stage in our aspirations. I believe that through this joint effort we shall be able to make a greater contribution to the aesthetic, cultural and spiritual development of Armenian children for a brighter future of our country and our children”, said General Director of “ArmenTel” company Igor Klimko.

“We are glad to welcome our first corporate partner, “ArmenTel” company. In the course of its first year of operations the Cafesjian Center for the Arts assumed a special role in the cultural life of Armenia, and the interest that corporate partners have towards our activities is yet another proof of its public significance. The support coming from “ArmenTel” will enable us to expand the range of our children’s program, ensuring that the crucial public role of any museum, education, is available at our Center”, stressed the Acting Executive Director of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts Vahagn Marabyan.

The corporate partnership program includes a whole range of initiatives – the implementation of the “Creativity and Imagination” program for children ages 6-12, based on the exhibition by Czech glass artist Ivana Šrámková, an education program for senior school students featuring work by Armenian glass artist Henrik Nikoyan and a special creative activities program scheduled for the Easter season. A series of free classical music concerts for children will be launched as part of the partnership, featuring leading Armenian musicians.
