"My Handmade Armenia" Crafts Festival 2021

"My Handmade Armenia" crafts festival will take place at the Cafesjian Sculpture Garden for the 4th time on September 11-12, 2021.

A tradition since 2017, this project, organized by "My Armenia" program, is funded by USAID and implemented by the Smithsonian Institution.

Special workshops will be offered to children and adults to try different crafts and learn
new skills, such as felting, basket and carpet weaving, stone carving, ceramic jewelry making, and pottery.

The workshop agenda:

Day 1. September 11  
11:00 –12:00  Ceramic Jewelry Making
12:30 –13:30  Tuff stone puzzle making
14:00 –15:00  Felting
15:30 –16:30  Carpet Weaving
17:00 –18:00  Ceramic Painting
18:30 –19:30  Basket Weaving  

Day 2. September 12
10:30 – 11:30  Angel Doll Making
12:00 – 13:00  Stone Carving
13:30 – 14:30  1001 shades
15:00 – 16:00  Trees that tell stories
16:30 – 17:30  Carpet Weaving

Admission and Hours

Gallery One, Museum Store, Khanjyan Gallery, Sasuntsi Davit Gallery and Swarovski Crystal Palace exhibition are always free of charge.

Cafesjian Sculpture Garden: Always open.
Escalator Gallery: Everyday, 8:00-20:00.
Exhibition Galleries, Museum Store and Visitor Center: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10:00-20:00.
The Center is closed on state holidays.

Starting from April 1, CCA Museum Store, besides Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, will also be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 10:00am till 6:00pm.
