"Tigran" Documentary Film Screening

April 02, 2015
The Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) and the Embassy of France in Armenia are pleased to invite you on April 2 at 18:00 to the CCA’s Special Events Auditorium for screening of the documentary Tigran (52 minutes) dedicated to the famous Armenian pianist Tigran Hamassian.

Directed by Adrien Rivollier and produced by Cocottesminute productions, Mezzo and Lyon Capitale TV.

The film is a story of a young man who has great passion for music; Tigran Hamasyan, a world-renowned pianist whose jazz performances fascinate even the greatest figures and purists. The director takes us on a journey to the United States, Europe and Armenia to witness the story of establishment of this wanted artist. Tigran consumes his sources of inspiration in electro, rock, metal and jazz genres as well as is influenced with an insatiable appetite by the history and folk music of his country. It’s an intimate journey where emotions arise in this melee between the character and music.

The admission is free.
