A Diary

A special program entitled "A Diary" was held on September 15 at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts for the beneficiaries of the “Center for Elderly and Disabled People”.

The program was held within the framework of "Reconsidering Nature" temporary exhibition of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts. An interactive tour given to program participants, followed by a discussion on the theme of human-nature relationship, possibilities of representation of identity issues. Thereafter, inspired by creative approaches of the women artists, participants created their collage-postcards on the theme of nature and memory.

"A Diary" program of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts was aimed at integrating elderly single people into cultural life and establishing the museum as a place of continuous education.

"... Today is one of the best days of my life. I cannot recollect when I last became spiritually so peaceful, calm and therefore happy ...", one of the elderly people shared his impressions at the end of the project.

Admission and Hours

Cafesjian Sculpture Garden: always open.
Escalator Gallery: everyday, 8:00-20:00.
Exhibition Galleries, Museum Store and Visitor Center: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10:00-20:00.
The Center is closed on state holidays.

From April 1 until October 31, CCA Museum Store, besides Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, will also be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 10:00am till 6:00pm.
