Annual Reception of Art Community at CCAJune 02, 2015 On May 30, in celebration of the International Museum Day, the annual reception of museum workers and art community representatives took place at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts. The special program of the evening offered gallery tour of the newly opened exhibitions, concert program and reception.The event was commenced with a presentation of the Interactive Study Center in Gallery One, following of which the exhibitions, Sarkis Hamalbashian: Armenian District and Sahak Poghosyan: Silence of My Grandmother's Eyes, were presented to the guests respectively in Sasuntsi Davit and Eagle Galleries. The artist Sahak Poghosyan personally presented his project. Singer Lilit Pipoyan presented his father's Suren Pipoyan's painting Migration in Khanjyan Gallery, after which the guests enjoyed a live music performance by Lilit in accompaniment with an orchestra and children's choir. The event was concluded with a reception in Khanjyan Gallery, where the guests had a great opportunity to meet each other and enjoy the cultural ambience of the evening. Cafesjian Sculpture Garden: always open. Escalator Gallery: everyday, 8:00-20:00. Exhibition Galleries, Museum Store and Visitor Center: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10:00-20:00. The Center is closed on state holidays. From April 1 until October 31, CCA Museum Store, besides Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, will also be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 10:00am till 6:00pm. |
