ArmBookExpo was held at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts

On September 24-26, 2015, at the request of the RoA Ministry of Culture, the Cafesjian Center for the Arts hosted the second ArmBookExpo organized by the National Library of Armenia.

The exhibition presented more than 5400 books on Armenia and Armenian culture published in 49 countries of the world in 27 languages. In the frames of the Expo three books translated into Armenian were presented at the Interactive Study Center by the book authors: American-Armenian renowned writer Chris Bohjalian’s The Sandcastle Girls, Romanian-Armenian Varujan Voskanian’s The Book of Whispers and prominent Dutch children’s book writer Joke van Leeuwen’s Tweet.

    On December 26, 2011, during a ceremony hosted by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, the Cafesjian Center for the Arts received a Certificate of Gratitude from the Yerevan Municipality. The CCA was recognized for "efficient operations and creative success." The CCA's Acting Executive Director Vahagn Marabyan received the honor on behalf of the Center.
