BOOKBRACE at CCA

On the occasion of the Book Giving Day on February 19, the Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) gifted the Center’s exhibition catalogs to the libraries, educational institutions and museums of Armenia and Artsakh at its Interactive Study Center.

The Book Giving Day has become a beautiful tradition at CCA. Back in 2019, the Center gifted “Hovhannes Tumanyan: Selection of Works” books to both regional and Yerevan's libraries. The book was illustrated by children, who had participated in CCA’s “Encounter with the Book” educational program in 2016-2017. 

This year CCA gifted 26 different exhibition catalogs to various libraries, educational institutions, and museums of Armenia and Artsakh. The catalogs have been published during the ten-year activities of the Center.

• Fashion Road Project Presented in Encounters with Art Series

  The first evening of the Encounters with Art program series in 2012 was devoted to the Fashion Road project and its outcome – the exhibition of 20 garments created by young designers from Armenia, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Romania, Czech Republic and Germany.

• Yerevan Mayor Honors the Cafesjian Center for the Arts with a Certificate of Gratitude

  On December 26, 2011, during a ceremony hosted by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, the Cafesjian Center for the Arts received a Certificate of Gratitude from the Yerevan Municipality. The CCA was recognized for "efficient operations and creative success." The CCA's Acting Executive Director Vahagn Marabyan received the honor on behalf of the Center.
