CCA Announces the Launch of “DesignLab: Teapots” New Educational ProgramMay 06, 2021 CCA continues its unique educational programs. “DesignLab: Teapots” is designed for children (ages 6 and up) and families. “DesignLab: Teapots” program is based on one of the permanent exhibitions of the Center, featuring a collection of teapots. The history of the teapot and tea drinking, as well as traditions from different cultures connected with tea drinking, will be examined through the teapot collection. Participants will be familiarized with the biggest and smallest teapots of the collection, including sculpture teapots, ring teapot, coat teapot, and other types of interesting teapots. During the creative part of the program, participants will depict teapots by their own design with the help of design students involved in the program. Admission and HoursCafesjian Sculpture Garden: always open. Escalator Gallery: everyday, 8:00-20:00. Exhibition Galleries, Museum Store and Visitor Center: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10:00-20:00. The Center is closed on state holidays. From April 1 until October 31, CCA Museum Store, besides Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, will also be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 10:00am till 6:00pm. |
