CCA Gala Concert Took Place on July 17, 2019

July 17, 2019
The multi-element event, including musical performances and speeches by renowned cultural figures, gathered citizens, Armenians, and tourists to celebrate the culmination of CCA’s 10-year operational period.

The Armenian State Jazz Orchestra, led by its Artistic Director Armen Hyusnunts, opened up the celebratory evening, filling the Cafesjian Sculpture Garden with jazzy melodies and grabbing everyone’s attention.

The Acting Executive Director of CCA, Vahagn Marabyan, gave a greeting speech, followed by the speech of Narine Khachaturyan, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport. Among the guests was Arayik Harutyunyan, Minster of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport, as well as representatives of different Embassies, museums, and other prominent artists and cultural figures.

The congratulatory speeches of the guest speakers noted CCA’s uniqueness and value in Armenian art and cultural spheres.

Gagik Ginosyan’s “KARIN” dance ensemble performed the famous Karno Qochari dance, spreading national rhythms and spirit throughout the Cascade complex.

The guest musicians performed great jazz compositions, and Vahagn Hayrapetyan and Arto Tunçboyacıyan performed a musical program – a fusion of jazz and Armenian folk music.

The festive evening was concluded by spectacular fireworks.

Excited, joyful, and bright people filled the Cafesjian Sculpture Garden on this celebratory evening.
