CCA Organized the Last ENCOUNTERS WITH ART Series Event of 2015

On December 25, 2015 the Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) organized the last ENCOUNTERS WITH ART series event of the year to summarize the activities of CCA in 2015. Armenian art community, museum workers, artists, friends, CCA partners and members were invited to the event to become a part of a special evening.

The event started with the screening of a video presenting the activities of CCA in 2015, after which the Acting Executive Director of the Center Vahagn Marabyan gave a welcoming speech. During the evening certificates of gratitude were handed to the artists and curators involved in the exhibition programming of CCA in 2015, as well as to the partner of CCA educational programs Beeline Company, to the Cafesjian Classical Music Series Board members, and to one of the most devoted members of the Center Mr. Arno Mosikyan.

The evening was concluded with a wonderful jazz concert presented by Vahagn Hayrapetyan and Armen Hyusnunts. During the reception the guests also had an opportunity to create a special wish tree with colorful stickers, wishing each other a Happy New Year and Merry Christmas.

    On December 26, 2011, during a ceremony hosted by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, the Cafesjian Center for the Arts received a Certificate of Gratitude from the Yerevan Municipality.     The Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) announces the closure of Ivana Šrámková: Geometric Forms and Images exhibition at Sasuntsi Davit Garden Gallery of the Center. The exhibition, opened in November 2010, for the first time in Armenia presented the works by Czech glass artist Ivana Šrámková from the Gerard L. Cafesjian Collection. The exhibition was also accompanied by a children’s program, Creativity and Imagination, administered in the exhibition gallery for children aged 6-12.
