Richard Wagner, the powerful symphonist, and Hugo Wolf, the master of the vocal genre, although representatives of different generations, share numerous similarities in their musical thinking. It is no coincidence that Wolf is called "the Wagner of song," referring to his innovative approach to vocal art.

The program will feature Richard Wagner - "Wesendonck Lieder"
Based on poems by Mathilde Wesendonck and dedicated to her, this cycle is an expression of Wagner's personal feelings.

Hugo Wolf - Selected Songs from Eduard Mörike's Cycle / "Mörike lieder"
These songs by Wolf are based on the lyrical works of the German Romantic poet Eduard Mörike. The composer has transformed Mörike's poetry into musical masterpieces. Selected pieces from this rich cycle will be performed, best showcasing the creative fusion of Wolf and Mörike.

The concert starts at 20:00
