DesignLab: Chairs

The program, designed for schoolchildren over the age of 11 and families aims to foster participants’ creative thinking, develop their design skills, and familiarize them with the main peculiarities of applied arts. 

One of the most useable household items, the chair, has been chosen as an applied arts sample. The program participants will first explore the unique chairs from the Gerard L. Cafesjian Collection exhibited at the Center's Escalator Gallery and then will depict their own design chair with the help of young designers at the CCA Creative Hall. 

Participation is free of charge with prior registration.
