Discovering the Graphic Arts: Game-Excursion

Educational project for schools (12+) and families, based on the exhibition, Exiles and Dreamers: Panorama of 20th Century Graphic Arts from the Armenian Diaspora of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA).
The objectives of the program:  
• Explore the exhibition, Exiles and Dreamers: Panorama of 20th Century Graphic Arts from the Armenian Diaspora;
• Present the different techniques and features of graphic arts;
• Develop participants' ability to distinguish the techniques of graphic arts;
• To become a link between schools and Art University, asserting CCA’s important role in art education.

The focus of the program is the exhibition, Exiles and Dreamers: Panorama of 20th Century Graphic Arts from the Armenian Diaspora. 
In the first part of the program, the participants will be introduced to the different techniques of printmaking and its features at the Graphic Arts Department Laboratory of the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia. 
The program will continue at CCA Eagle Gallery, where a detailed presentation of the exhibition will be given, and the participants will play “Guess the Technique” game, guessing the techniques of graphic arts they have already learned.

The project is realized in partnership with the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia. 

Participation is free of charge with prior registration.

CCA presented the project of Armenian National Pavilion within the framework of the 60th Venice Art Biennale
Admission and Hours

Cafesjian Sculpture Garden: always open.
Escalator Gallery: everyday, 8:00-20:00.
Exhibition Galleries, Museum Store and Visitor Center: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10:00-20:00.
The Center is closed on state holidays.

From April 1 until October 31, CCA Museum Store, besides Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, will also be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 10:00am till 6:00pm.
