ENCOUNTERS WITH ART Series Event Dedicated to Ara Harutyunyan was Held at CCA

On June 7, the ENCOUNTERS WITH ART series of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) presented its regular event, featuring the exhibition, Ara Harutyunyan: Monumental Vision, which will close on June 10.

The program includes:

19:00 Lecture: Ara Harutyunyan's Artistic Legacy; Speaker: Armen Yesayants, art historian, Director of Exhibitions of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts

19:40 “Sculptor Ara Harutyunyan” documentary screening, Dir.: R. Frangulyan, 1976
Special Events Auditorium

Admission was free, by prior reservation.

The Encounters with Art program was launched at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts in October 2010, as a series of events dedicated to Armenian and international artists, as well as important cultural events.

Admission and Hours

Cafesjian Sculpture Garden: always open.
Escalator Gallery: everyday, 8:00-20:00.
Exhibition Galleries, Museum Store and Visitor Center: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10:00-20:00.
The Center is closed on state holidays.

From April 1 until October 31, CCA Museum Store, besides Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, will also be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 10:00am till 6:00pm.
