Encounters with Art: “Benjamin Britten – 100”February 13, 2014 The Cafesjian Center for the Arts in partnership with the British Council presents an event, dedicated to the centenary of world renowned British composer Benjamin Britten. In program: • Benjamin Britten in Armenia: memories by the president of the Composers Union, composer Aram Satyan • “Zvartnots Renaissance” Fund's Soloist Group will present pieces by Britten • “A TIME THERE WAS…” screening of film by Tony Palmer 1973 (Language: English, Subtitles: Russian) The admission to the event is free, by prior reservations and invitations only. CCA presented the project of Armenian National Pavilion within the framework of the 60th Venice Art Biennale
Admission and HoursCafesjian Sculpture Garden: always open. Escalator Gallery: everyday, 8:00-20:00. Exhibition Galleries, Museum Store and Visitor Center: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10:00-20:00. The Center is closed on state holidays. From April 1 until October 31, CCA Museum Store, besides Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, will also be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 10:00am till 6:00pm. |
