Encounters with Art: CCA Public and Concert Programs 2009-2018: Overview

June 15, 2019 The next event of the Encounters with Art program will be held at the Special Events Auditorium of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) at 7 PM on June 15. The Center's Events Coordinator Emma Kirakosyan will deliver a lecture, titled CCA Concert and Public Programs 2009-2018: Overview. 

Over the ten years of its operation, the Center has implemented about 1000 public and concert programs. Encounters with Art, in the frames of which lectures are delivered by prominent cultural workers, bears a special significance. Since the launch of this program, the Center has held about 70 encounters with more than 7000 participants. 

During the lecture, the speaker will also touch upon the concert programs implemented by the Center over the ten years of its activities, in particular, Cafesjian Classical Music Series and Music Cascade.  Around 280 classical music concerts with more than 20,000 attendees have taken place at the Center so far.  More than 40,000 attendees have had the chance to enjoy the best of jazz, pop, rock, as well as traditional music in the scope of 450 concerts organized within Music Cascade concert series. 

Following the lecture, there will be a concert by the duo Nuclear Okra. The admission is free.
