October 24, 2019
On October 24, a lecture, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Komitas took place at the Special Events Auditorium of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) within the scope of “Encounters with Art” program. The lecture was delivered by Gagik Ginosyan, national dances professional, founder and creative director of “Karin” Traditional Song and Dance Ensemble.

During the lecture, titled “KOMITAS AND THE DANCE,” Mr. Ginosyan talked about the almost unknown part of the legacy – the notes and research of the ancient and fiery Armenian dance –  of the Great Master of Armenian Song: Komitas.
