Encounters with Art: Silva Kaputikyan: "Pages from a Closed Drawer"September 26, 2019 On September 26, a lecture, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Silva Kaputikyan will take place at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) within the scope of “Encounters with Art” program. The lecture will be delivered by Armenuhi Demirtchyan, Doctor of Philology; Head of Silva Kaputikyan House-Museum, and Seyranuhi Geghamyan, Writer-Publicist; Registrar of Silva Kaputikyan House-Museum.The speakers will present the known and unknown episodes of Kaputikyan’s life, giving the audience a new perception of the poetess’ unique persona. The audience will enjoy Silva Kaputikyan’s poems and excerpts from videos about her. The lecture will also unveil the activities Kaputikyan promoted in the Armenian Diaspora. The Portrait of Silva Kaputikyan by Haroutiun Galentz will be displayed during the lecture. The event starts at 7 p.m. The admission is free. Other materials from this section

Admission and Hours
Cafesjian Sculpture Garden: always open. Escalator Gallery: everyday, 8:00-20:00. Exhibition Galleries, Museum Store and Visitor Center: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10:00-20:00. The Center is closed on state holidays. From April 1 until October 31, CCA Museum Store, besides Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, will also be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 10:00am till 6:00pm.
