Encounters with Art: Vahram Papazian 125

On March 21 at 7 PM, the Encounters with Art program of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts will be dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the famous Armenian actor Vahram Papazyan. 

In program:

• Vahram Papazian
A lecture by Henrik Hovhannisyan, Doctor of Arts, Professor, Corr. Member of NAS RA, Honored Worker of Art of the RA.

• A slideshow accompanied by the unique recordings of famous monologues by great actor Vahram Papazian.

The admission to the event is free, by prior reservations. For inquiries please call 541932/34.

The Encounters with Art program was launched in October, 2010 as a series of events, focusing on Armenian and international arts and artists. The event is held at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts every month.

    On December 26, 2011, during a ceremony hosted by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, the Cafesjian Center for the Arts received a Certificate of Gratitude from the Yerevan Municipality. The CCA was recognized for "efficient operations and creative success." The CCA's Acting Executive Director Vahagn Marabyan received the honor on behalf of the Center.

  • Cafesjian Center for the Arts Announces the Closure of Ivana Šrámková's Exhibition
    The Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) announces the closure of Ivana Šrámková: Geometric Forms and Images exhibition at Sasuntsi Davit Garden Gallery of the Center. The exhibition, opened in November 2010, for the first time in Armenia presented the works by Czech glass artist Ivana Šrámková from the Gerard L. Cafesjian Collection. The exhibition was also accompanied by a children’s program, Creativity and Imagination, administered in the exhibition gallery for children aged 6-12.
