On July 9 the Encounters with Art series at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) presented a special event dedicated to renowned Armenian artist Arto Tchakmakchian. This event was held in connection with the newly opened exhibition at the Center, Arto Tchakmakchian: Rebirth.

The program began with a viewing of the exhibition in CCA’s Sasuntsi Davit Garden Gallery, followed by a lecture in the Special Events Auditorium given by art historian Shushan Vardanyan titled Arto Tchakmakchian: Life and Work.
