Encounters with Art Series Event Dedicated to Kamo Nigarian was Held at CCA

On October 29 the ENCOUNTERS WITH ART series of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) presented a special event dedicated to renowned Armenian non-conformist artist Kamo Nigarian. The event was associated with the newly opened exhibition of the Center Kamo Nigarian: Schizopolis.

The program included: 

• Exhibition preview in Sasuntsi Davit Garden Gallery

• Lecture ART AS DESIGN
               Kamo Nigarian's creative practice during the 1970s-80s in the context of Soviet art

Speaker: Vigen Galstyan, Art critic, curator of the exhibition


• Presentation of the exhibition catalog Kamo Nigarian: Schizopolis

The Encounters with Art program was launched at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts in October 2010, as a series of events dedicated to Armenian, as well as international artists and important cultural events.
