European Heritage Days at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts

The Cafesjian Center for the Arts, in the scope of the Days of European Heritage in Armenia, invites you to take part: 

* On September 27, at 19:00 at the Special Events Auditorium.

The Encounters with Art series presents Cafesjian Cultural Connection: exhibitions of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts, new artworks and presented artists.

The admission to the event is free, by prior reservations and invitations only.

* On September 28, at 19:00 at the Cafesjian Sculpture Garden. 

The Cafesjian Center for the Arts invites everyone to the tradition of folk dances with Karin Ensemble.


* On September 29, at 20:00 at the Special Events Auditorium.

Мusic Cascade series presents Aghvan Papoyan Soul Band
Reservation is required, for inquiries please call (010) 56 72 62. 


* On September 29 and 30 from 10:00 until 20:00 the Cafesjian Center for the Arts will be free of charge. Public tours will be organised during these two days at 16:00. The participation is free, by prior reservations.

* On September 30 make your holiday shopping at the Museum Store and get 10% discount. Note that CCA members receive a 20 % discount on all items available at the Museum store (except for Armenian crafts).

    On December 26, 2011, during a ceremony hosted by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, the Cafesjian Center for the Arts received a Certificate of Gratitude from the Yerevan Municipality. The CCA was recognized for "efficient operations and creative success." The CCA's Acting Executive Director Vahagn Marabyan received the honor on behalf of the Center.

  • Cafesjian Center for the Arts Announces the Closure of Ivana Šrámková's Exhibition
    The Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) announces the closure of Ivana Šrámková: Geometric Forms and Images exhibition at Sasuntsi Davit Garden Gallery of the Center. The exhibition, opened in November 2010, for the first time in Armenia presented the works by Czech glass artist Ivana Šrámková from the Gerard L. Cafesjian Collection. The exhibition was also accompanied by a children’s program, Creativity and Imagination, administered in the exhibition gallery for children aged 6-12.
