European Night of Museums at CCAMay 16, 2015 Free admission: 10:00am - 12:00am Program One artwork show • Suren Pipoyan: Migration (Khanjyan Gallery) Ongoing temporary exhibitions: • Sarkis Hamalbashian: Armenian District (Sasuntsi David Garden Gallery) • Sahak Poghosyan: Silence of my Grandmother's Eyes (Eagle Gallery) Educational Programs • Armenian Collages (based on the exhibition, Sarkis Hamalbashian: Armenian District) The participants will create their own narratives using the characters from Hamalbashyan’s works. 12:00- 13:30 • Mapping the Memory (based on the exhibition Silence of My Grandmother’s Eyes) The guest of the program doctor Harutyun Minasyan will share the path of his family through a story of an object, remain that once belonged to his ancestors and have survived after the genocide. 14:30- 16:00 The Cafesjian Center for the Arts will also offer free admission on Sunday, May 17 (10am-8pm) and Monday, May 18 – on the International Museum Day (10am-5pm).

CCA presented the project of Armenian National Pavilion within the framework of the 60th Venice Art Biennale
Admission and HoursCafesjian Sculpture Garden: always open. Escalator Gallery: everyday, 8:00-20:00. Exhibition Galleries, Museum Store and Visitor Center: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10:00-20:00. The Center is closed on state holidays. From April 1 until October 31, CCA Museum Store, besides Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, will also be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 10:00am till 6:00pm. |
