In the Midst of Paraffin Blanket and Earrings with Turkish stone

On May 21, at 19:00 the Cafesjian Center for the Arts presents ENCOUNTERS WITH ART series event, featuring the exhibition, Sahak Poghosyan: silence of my grandmother’s eyes.

The artist Sahak Poghosyan, cultural critic and theorist Hrach Bayadyan and the curator of the exhibition, art critic Nazareth Karoyan will talk about the medium of art, memory and its visualization in the scope of a panel discussion, entitled “In the midst of paraffin blanket and earrings with Turkish stone: strategy of memory in Sahak Poghosyan's project Silence of my Grandmother’s Eyes”

Cafesjian Sculpture Garden: always open.
Escalator Gallery: everyday, 8:00-20:00.
Exhibition Galleries, Museum Store and Visitor Center: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10:00-20:00.
The Center is closed on state holidays.

From April 1 until October 31, CCA Museum Store, besides Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, will also be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 10:00am till 6:00pm.
