International Child Protection Day 2017: “Children Unite the World”

June 01, 2017
The Cafesjian Center for the Arts and Beeline Company in Armenia Invites Everyone to Celebrate the International Child Protection Day on June 1

“Children Unite the World”

The Cafesjian Center for the Arts with the sponsorship of Beeline Company in Armenia is organizing a festive event on June 1 to celebrate the International Child Protection Day.

This year the Cafesjian Center for the Arts has come up with a new format for this event by engaging over 100 schoolchildren from four local schools (Secondary School N 130 after Nairi Zaryan, Secondary School N2 after Mnatsakan Ghazaryan of Nor Kharberd, “Qvantum” College, “Yerevak” Educational Complex) and QSI International School of Yerevan Every gathers around this grand event the expact community children (QSI International School of Yerevan). The aim of the educational initiative is to unite the schools around one general research project by creating a platform of collaboration among the expat community in Armenia and their fellow schoolchildren.

Children will work together on developing art projects in the scope of the selected theme: the STONE as artistic, archeological and geological medium, as a shared substance by all mankind, is proposed for this year.

On June 1 starting 11:00am the participating schools and visitors will engage in a public installation with painted stones creating the two hemispheres of the planet Earth.
The art project will be followed by contemporary street dance performances: hip-hop, breakdancing starting 19:00
