Known and Unknown Art

August 16, 2025
"Known and Unknown Art" educational program is based on the exhibition, Paruyr Davtyan: Davtyan Paruyr.

The main goal of the educational program is to introduce participants to contemporary conceptual art through the exhibition, Paruyr Davtyan: Davtyan Paruyr.

The exhibition of Moscow-based Armenian artist Paruyr Davtyan consists entirely of reference-rich works, shaped on known and unknown pages of Moscow and global art history.

Exploring the exhibition, Paruyr Davtyan: Davtyan Paruyr and its conceptual layers, participants will reveal the role of visible and hidden references in art. In the creative part of the program, participants will have the opportunity to create new conceptual artworks.

Emphasizing the role of museum education, the Cafesjian Center for the Arts continuously develops and implements programs that encourage participants' interest in contemporary art, foster critical thinking and promote creative expression through direct engagement with artworks.

The educational program is designed for participants of ages 12+ and families.
