Launch of “Calligraphy Workshop at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts” Project

Ahead of its opening, the Cafesjian Center for the Arts announces the launch of “Calligraphy Workshop at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts” project.

The three-month workshop-program will be conducted by painter, designer, and pedagogue Ruben Malayan. 

The program is intended for art, design and architecture students of different educational institutions, ages 16+. The participants will be chosen through a contest. The contest participants need to write their first and last names in at least three handwritten versions, attach it to their portfolio and send it to: educationcca@gmail.com .

The deadline for applications is September 27.

The Workshop will take place from September to December, on Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 4:00-6:00 pm.

  • Cafesjian Center for the Arts Announces the Closure of Ivana Šrámková's Exhibition
    The Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) announces the closure of Ivana Šrámková: Geometric Forms and Images exhibition at Sasuntsi Davit Garden Gallery of the Center. The exhibition, opened in November 2010, for the first time in Armenia presented the works by Czech glass artist Ivana Šrámková from the Gerard L. Cafesjian Collection. The exhibition was also accompanied by a children’s program, Creativity and Imagination, administered in the exhibition gallery for children aged 6-12.
