Mrs. Kathleen Cafesjian Baradaran’s visit to the Cafesjian Center for the Arts

On October 9-16, 2014 Mrs. Kathleen Cafesjian Baradaran, President of the Cafesjian Family Foundation, accompanied by her husband, Mr. Jaffar Baradaran and Mr. Gary Jones, Chief Financial Officer of the Cafesjian Family Foundation, visited Armenia as the Foundation’s new President.

On October 10, 2014, Mrs. Cafesjian Baradaran visited the Cafesjian Center for the Arts. Following an extensive tour of the exhibition spaces with the Acting Executive Director of the Center, Mr. Vahagn Marabyan, Mrs. Cafesjian Baradaran also visited the construction site at the top of the Cascade and the off-site art storage facility. 

The visit at the Center included a staff meeting in the Special Events Auditorium, where Mr. Marabyan introduced all departments and staff members. Mrs. Cafesjian Baradaran extended her appreciation to the entire staff of the Center for their continuing dedication to the Cafesjian Legacy.

As part of her trip to Armenia, Mrs. Cafesjian Baradaran also attended the official opening of the Dilijan International School and met with the President of Armenia, Mr. Serzh Sargsyan.

    The Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) announces the closure of Ivana Šrámková: Geometric Forms and Images exhibition at Sasuntsi Davit Garden Gallery of the Center. The exhibition, opened in November 2010, for the first time in Armenia presented the works by Czech glass artist Ivana Šrámková from the Gerard L. Cafesjian Collection. The exhibition was also accompanied by a children’s program, Creativity and Imagination, administered in the exhibition gallery for children aged 6-12.
