New Interactive Study Center Opens at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts

The Cafesjian Center for the Arts announces the opening of the Interactive Study Center, a research library of books and catalogues on art and related disciplines with extended media resources of digitized collections and databases of the world’s major museums and art institutions. 

The Interactive Study Center features a vast collection of unique books on modern and contemporary art from the Cafesjian Collection, as well as exhibition catalogues and monographs on Armenian Art and artists from CCA’s library. Approximately 600 books, exhibition catalogues and monographs will be freely accessible to researchers, art students and the general public. The Interactive Study Center also includes a special family corner, offering parents and children creativity books and activity toys, stimulating their imagination and fostering a love for reading. Along with research activities, book presentations and other cultural programs will be organized in the Interactive Study Center. 

“With the opening of the Interactive Study Center, the Cafesjian Center for the Arts creates an alternative research space for field professionals and the general public, offering important resources on art and art history. Henceforth, our visitors can enrich their visit to the Center with the enjoyment of reading and study”, said Vahagn Marabyan, Acting Executive Director of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts. 

The Interactive Study Center will be open free of charge on Tuesday-Thursday from 10am till 5pm and on Friday-Saturday from 10am till 8pm.
