Partnership between CCA and Beeline Continues in 2015

Partnership between the Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) and Beeline continues in 2015 in the scope of CCA’s educational programs.

In the scope of cooperation between Beeline and CCA, the newly opened Interactive Study Center of CCA has been equipped with modern digital technologies making collections and databases of the world’s major museums and art institutions accessible for visitors.

“New programs implemented with the Cafesjian Center for the Arts as well as wide opportunities offered by the Interactive Study Center will enable children and their parents familiarize with art history through digital technologies. We are glad that partnership with Beeline is entering a new phase making people’s lives better, promoting aesthetic upbringing of children and teenagers”, - stated Andrey Pyatakhin, General Director of Beeline in Armenia.

“I am thankful to our continuous partner Beeline for sponsoring educational programs implemented by the Cafesjian Center for the Arts. This year the computers acquired with the help of Beeline for the Interactive Study Center will make collections and databases of the world’s major museums and art institutions accessible for our visitors”, – said the Acting Executive Director of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts Vahagn Marabyan.
 
The Interactive Study Center features a vast collection of unique books on modern and contemporary art from the Cafesjian Collection, as well as exhibition catalogues and monographs on Armenian Art and artists from CCA’s library. Approximately 600 books, exhibition catalogues and monographs will be freely accessible to researchers, art students and the general public. The Interactive Study Center also includes a special family corner, offering parents and children creativity books and activity toys, stimulating their imagination and fostering a love for reading. Along with research activities, book presentations and other cultural programs will be organized in the Interactive Study Center.

  • Cafesjian Center for the Arts Announces the Closure of Ivana Šrámková's Exhibition
    The Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) announces the closure of Ivana Šrámková: Geometric Forms and Images exhibition at Sasuntsi Davit Garden Gallery of the Center. The exhibition, opened in November 2010, for the first time in Armenia presented the works by Czech glass artist Ivana Šrámková from the Gerard L. Cafesjian Collection. The exhibition was also accompanied by a children’s program, Creativity and Imagination, administered in the exhibition gallery for children aged 6-12.
