Photography Masterclass by Shadi Ghadirian was Held at CCA

On October 6, 2018 the Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) and Muscari Association invited field-professionals, photographers, artists, studios and students to participate in a master class held by Iranian photographer Shadi Ghadirian.

The master class was organized within the scope of the exhibition, Shadi Ghadirian: Retrospective, which will be on view at CCA from October 6 to December 23. The photographs, in seven series, are shown for the first time in Armenia. Shadi Ghadirian has had exhibitions in Iran, France, Canada, Italy, Belgium, India, USA and in other counties.

The master class was held at the CCA Special Event Auditorium.

The CCA was recognized for "efficient operations and creative success." The CCA's Acting Executive Director Vahagn Marabyan received the honor on behalf of the Center.

  • Cafesjian Center for the Arts Announces the Closure of Ivana Šrámková's Exhibition
    The Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) announces the closure of Ivana Šrámková: Geometric Forms and Images exhibition at Sasuntsi Davit Garden Gallery of the Center. The exhibition, opened in November 2010, for the first time in Armenia presented the works by Czech glass artist Ivana Šrámková from the Gerard L. Cafesjian Collection. The exhibition was also accompanied by a children’s program, Creativity and Imagination, administered in the exhibition gallery for children aged 6-12.
