The Cafesjian Center for the Arts took part in ArtExpo 2011 Annual Exhibition

On February 11-12, 2011, the Cafesjian Center for the Arts took part in an annual ArtExpo 2011Exhibition. The two-day event was held by the initiative of the Ministry of Culture of Armenia and was organised by Expomedia Center.

The event was aimed at presenting cultural achievements of 2010 and presenting ideas and plans for 2011. CCA also presented its programs for 2010-2011.

ArtExpo hosted over 50 state, public and private cultural institutions. The official opening of the exhibition was made by the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan who toured the pavilions, accompanied by the Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan. Later the expo opened for general public.

    On December 26, 2011, during a ceremony hosted by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, the Cafesjian Center for the Arts received a Certificate of Gratitude from the Yerevan Municipality. The CCA was recognized for "efficient operations and creative success." The CCA's Acting Executive Director Vahagn Marabyan received the honor on behalf of the Center.
