The City in Me

November 01, 2014
The Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) with the sponsorship of Beeline launched a new educational program, The City in Me, based on the exhibition Kochar: Challenging the Time, dedicated to the 115th anniversary of the prominent Armenian artist Ervand Kochar.

Following the tour of the exhibition participants watched a documentary about Kochar, after which they had a discussion about Kochar’s art, in particular urbanization and his head-drawings. At the end, they created their own motifs of head-cities based on Kochar’s works.

The program was designed for middle and high school students and families.

Participation in the program was free, with prior reservation.
