The Head of the Educational and Cultural Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM/CECA) Mrs. Emma Nardi visited the Cafesjian Center for the Arts

On June 20, 2012 the Head of the Educational and Cultural Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM/CECA) Mrs. Emma Nardi, with her husband, accompanied by the Director of the ICOM National Committee of Armenia Mrs. Ani Avagyan visited the Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA). 
The guests were given a private tour at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts, including the Cafesjian Sculpture Garden, all exhibition galleries, as well as open-air terraces of the Cascade Complex. The tour was completed at the CCA Special Events Auditorium, with a discussion about some organizational details with respect to the upcoming symposium Museum and Written Communication: Tradition and Innovation.  
Mrs. Emma Nardi was very much impressed by the exhibitions and educational programs of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts. She also admired the panoramic view of the city and Mount Ararat from the Special Events Auditorium.
At the end of her visit, Mrs. Emma Nardi wrote in the Comments’ Book of the Center: ''Visiting the Cafesjian Center for the Arts is an extraordinary experience. Before coming here I knew that Armenia had a great past. Now I know that Armenia has a great future.''

Admission and Hours

Cafesjian Sculpture Garden: always open.
Escalator Gallery: everyday, 8:00-20:00.
Exhibition Galleries, Museum Store and Visitor Center: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10:00-20:00.
The Center is closed on state holidays.

From April 1 until October 31, CCA Museum Store, besides Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, will also be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 10:00am till 6:00pm.
