The Results of Encounters with Book Educational Program were Summarized at CCA

On March 30, 2017 Vahagn Marabyan, the Acting Executive Director of the Cafejsian Center for the Arts and Andrey Pyatakhin, General Director Beeline Company in Armenia held a press conference to summarize the results of Encounters with Book educational program implemented with the sponsorship of Beeline Company in Armenia. The key of the event was a presentation of the children book published in the scope of the program featuring illustrations of participant children and engaged students’ design.

Encounters with Book educational program based on the exhibition Grigor Khanjyan: Beyond Image was carried out at CCA with the sponsorship of Beeline Company in Armenia.   The program was designed for schoolchildren of all ages in cooperation with students from the Fine Arts Academy of Yerevan. The program ran from December 2, 2016 up to February 15, 2017. More than 270 schoolchildren from 16 different schools participated in this program. The participants were introduced to Grigor Khanjyan’s heritage in book illustration and acquainted with the Book: its physical and intellectual content, they also designed and created their own books.

Admission and Hours

Cafesjian Sculpture Garden: always open.
Escalator Gallery: everyday, 8:00-20:00.
Exhibition Galleries, Museum Store and Visitor Center: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10:00-20:00.
The Center is closed on state holidays.

From April 1 until October 31, CCA Museum Store, besides Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, will also be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 10:00am till 6:00pm.
