Women in Armenian Art

April 29, 2022
“Women in Armenian Art” is based on the retrospective exhibition, Tereza Mirzoyan 100, on display at CCA from April 22 until June 19, 2022 and dedicated to the centennial of the artist. Tereza Mirzoyan was one of the most significant artists with great input in the 20th century Armenian sculpture.

Extending the topic, the educational program will additionally refer to other female Armenian artists of the 20th century, whose names, unfortunately, are either not quite familiar to the general public or are on the verge of oblivion.

The program is a wonderful opportunity to explore the female Armenian artists of the 20th century, their artistic legacy and the environment in which they created.

In the final part of the program, participants will map small versions of the presented artists' artworks located in different parts of Yerevan or in galleries. Special booklets referring to the original artworks will also be distributed.

Anyone aged 15+ can participate in the program. Participation is free with prior registration.

For information and registration, please call (+374) 10 54-19-32/34.
