Yerevan Collectors’ Choice 2: Letters in Plates Exhibition Opens at CCA

The Cafesjian Center for the Arts Announces the Opening of the Exhibition Yerevan Collectors’ Choice 2: Ruben Angaladian: Letters in Plates on October 9, 2014 at 10:00 in Sasuntsi Davit Garden Gallery. 

The Cafesjian Center for the Arts announces the opening of the second exhibition of its Yerevan Collectors’ Choice project. The exhibition presents famous Armenian culturologist, writer and collector Ruben Angaladian, featuring a selection of unique art plates from his rich collection.

Yerevan Collectors’ Choice 2: Ruben Angaladian: Letters in Plates exhibition brings together seventy-seven works by sixty-four artists. The exhibition reveals the bright character and aesthetic mindset of the Collector, as well as the rich cultural environment, in which those pieces of applied arts found their artistic expression. 

Many works created by famous Armenian artists will be on view for the first time, which will enhance their public recognition as a new cultural value.

The exhibition will continue through December 21, 2014. Admission is free.
