Yerevan Mayor Honors the Cafesjian Center for the Arts with a Certificate of Gratitude

On December 26, 2011, during a ceremony hosted by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, the Cafesjian Center for the Arts received a Certificate of Gratitude from the Yerevan Municipality. The CCA was recognized for "efficient operations and creative success." The CCA's Acting Executive Director Vahagn Marabyan received the honor on behalf of the Center.

The History Museum of Armenia and the Sylva Kaputikyan House-Museum were similarly recognized.

The Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) is dedicated to bringing the best of contemporary art to Armenia and presenting the best of Armenian culture to the world. Inspired by the vision of its founder, Mr. Gerard L. Cafesjian, the Center offers a wide variety of exhibitions, derived from Mr. Cafesjian’s own extensive collection of contemporary art. Having celebrated its grand opening in November 2009, CCA continues to exhibit unique works of modern art and offers a diverse program of visiting lecturers, films, concerts, and numerous educational initiatives for children and adults.

    The Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) announces the closure of Ivana Šrámková: Geometric Forms and Images exhibition at Sasuntsi Davit Garden Gallery of the Center.
