International Child Protection Day 2010

On June 1, 2010 a major celebration was held at the Cafesjian Sculpture Garden, bringing together around 50,000 participants. The children were were entertained by clowns and animators, but also were offered to take part in art workshops, guided by specially trained instructors.                                                                                     

At the open-air workshops the children had a chance to practice batik, ceramics, collage, cake decoration, and many other activities. The evening conitnued with a concert, on a stage, where children were offered to write their wishes.                                                                                                                                                           

The celebration ended with fireworks. Overall, the June 1 celebration in 2010 brought around 50,000 people to the Cafesjian Sculpture Garden.
