TITLE: PR & Marketing/Communications Consultant (Company or Individual)

LOCATION: Yerevan, Armenia

JOB DESCRIPTION: planning, development and implementation of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts’ public relations activities, marketing strategies and communications both on national and international levels. Development and implementation of support materials and services in the area of public relations, communications and marketing; directing all public relations, communications and marketing activities and coordinating at the strategic and tactical levels with various departments of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts (hereby CCA).

I. Public relations, marketing, communications:
- Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of:
a) comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will enhance CCA’s image and position locally and internationally, especially for its 10th anniversary;
b) all CCA marketing, communications and public relations activities and materials
- Ensure articulation of CCA’s desired image and position, assure communication of image and position to all constituencies, both on national and international levels;
- Responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of all CCA publications and marketing materials;
- Coordinate and stimulate local and international media interest in the CCA’s activities, ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests;
- Coordinate the appearance of all CCA print and electronic materials such as letterhead, use of logo, brochures, etc.;
- Develop, coordinate and oversee specific PR and Marketing initiatives to assist CCA’s departments in marketing, communications and positioning of their activates and events;
- Provide counsel to departments on marketing, communications and public relations;
- Lead projects as assigned, such as cause-related marketing and special events.

II. Planning and budgeting:
- Responsible for the achievement of public relations/communications/ marketing mission,
goals and objectives while maintaining the assigned budget;
- Develop short- and long-term plans and actions for the public relations/communications/ marketing program, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance;
- Recommend short- and long-term PR and Marketing goals and objectives to the Executive Director and the Board of Trustees;
- Develop, implement and monitor systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the public relations/communications/ marketing function;

- Minimum 5 years of experience in public relations, communications and marketing with
demonstrated success, preferably in the not-for-profit sector;
- Graduate degree in journalism, marketing, public relations preferred.
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of public relations, communications and marketing activities;
- Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills;
- Demonstrated successful experience writing press releases, organizing press conferences and negotiating with media;
- Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications;
- Computer literacy in word processing;
- Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams;
- Strong oral and written communications skills;
-Excellent knowledge of Armenian, English and Russian Languages;
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

REMUNERATION/ SALARY: Competitive and commensurate with experience.

Gallery One, Museum Store, Khanjyan Gallery, Sasuntsi Davit Gallery and Swarovski Crystal Palace exhibition are always free of charge.

Cafesjian Sculpture Garden: Always open.
Escalator Gallery: Everyday, 8:00-20:00.
Exhibition Galleries, Museum Store and Visitor Center: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10:00-20:00.
The Center is closed on state holidays.
